Meet The Doctor
Dr. Peltzer graduated from The University of Connecticut (UCONN) School of
Dental Medicine at the top of his class. For several years after his
graduation, he served on the Clinical Faculty at UCONN Health Center
teaching dental students the principles of dental technique. While teaching
at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, he was
simultaneously establishing his practice in Plainville, CT.
Dr. Peltzer has participated in thousands of hours of Advanced Continuing Education Courses to continuously update his skills and knowledge in this fast-changing and exciting field. Most recently, he has completed training through the Certified Physicians Clinical Training Course at Allergan, in the administration and use of Botox for facial cosmetic purposes.
For the last fifteen years, Dr. Peltzer has had the distinct honor of being one of only a handful of dentists throughout the world that have been selected to practice as a member of the International Research Group known as Clinical Research Associates (CRA), based in Provo, Utah. Dr. Peltzer is honored to serve as a member of The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology as well as the prestigious Academy of Laser Dentistry.
In this position, Dr. Peltzer is involved in developing and testing new advancements in dentistry. The information gained from this work is used by dentists and health agencies throughout the world, including the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. In addition, Dr. Peltzer is a member of American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists .

Dr. Peltzer’s state-of-the art facility provides all phases of dentistry from general dental services to oral surgery, surgical and non-surgical gum disease therapy, root canals and cosmetic dentistry.
